Items description:

SW concentration (local Z score) describes the relative share of smart-working employees at local level, highlighting by the positive high values
of the indicator the potential local pools of smart-working activities. The negative high values depict the reciprocal. Values close to 0 indicate no
significant concentration or absence of SW employees, at local scale.

Social Distance Index (km) measures the degree of proximity between the inhabitants of an LAU, under the assumption that they are uniformely distributed
in space. When the values are low, there is a strong concentration of population in the local administrative area. High values are associated to dispersed
population. The indicator is useful when compared to the potential accessibility of SW in the territory, showing that the 2 spatial distributions are not
always overlapping.

Internet speed (deviations to the national mean) is an indicator that compares the position of one LAU to the national mean of the Internet download speed.
The national mean value is expressed as 1, suggesting that values > 1 might have more comparative advantages in terms of SW concentration.

Potential accessibility to SW is an indicator that calculates the stock of employees available in a negative-exponential moving window of 90 minutes, with a 30 minutes span.
When mapped, it describes the local pools of smart-working concentration, in absolute values this time. The scale of representation is the French "canton", an
intermediate spatial unit placed between the LAU and the NUTS3.

The large number of French LAU2 (>36000) forced us to find an alternative mapping solution, compared to the other case studies. The choroplete data visualizations
are based on inverse weighted distance interpolation of the indicators.
